Villenueve de Duras is just 10 minutes drive from the beautiful, medieval, bastide town of Duras with its hilltop Chateau, spectacular views, quaint shopping area and Monday Market.
St-Foy-la-Grande is 20 minutes drive away. This large town is situated on the river Dordogne. Restaurants, bars, hyper-markets, wine outlets and many interesting shops. There is a large outdoor Market every Saturday - well worth a visit.
St Emillion and Bergerac, famous for their wines are only 45 minutes drive.
The City of Bordeaux is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes drive and has a wonderful shopping area, historical buildings, churches, International Airport and the TGV train station. It is also only a few miles from the coast.
